Dance your way through the week with Amandas mixes!
Ribas has made a name for herself with her charming personality and fan-friendly competing style. Ever since she started her career on the Brazilian regional scene back in 2014, she’s put on a steady stream of entertaining performances. She’s carried over those fantastic performances to the UFC and it’s culminated in her becoming one of the most beloved fighters on the roster.

Ribas tells UFC Ultimate Sound that music has a profound impact on her inside and outside of the Octagon. Whether it’s when she is backstage getting ready to make the walk out or going through a difficult time in her life outside of the Octagon. She relies heavily on Gospel music as a motivator to push her through the difficult times to achieve glory.

The strawweight contender doesn’t just use her mixes as a tool for motivation for her training but uses it to aid in entering a relaxed state of mind when she is traveling. When she’s on the road, she likes quiet music and songs that are nostalgic to her. The Counting Crows “Mr. Jones” is amongst one of the most memorable songs from her childhood, back when her dad would always play it on the car stereo.

When it comes to her entrance song, the popular strawweight comes out to Fee-Ra Huri by Omnia. It’s a song that her father helped her choose when they were at the gym one day trying to decide what song would be best suited for her walk out. The song makes her feel like a gladiator walking out to the battlefield. It’s the beat that resonates with her and allows her to clap her hands together as she walks towards the ultimate proving ground, while drawing energy from the audience on the way .

Transport yourself into the psyche of one of the most popular strawweight fighters in the UFC. The patent smile and positivity of Ribas are represented very well by the music she uses on her path to greatness.
